Many thanks for these memories. You probably wont remember me by my first academic job was at the University of Otago (Pharmacy).I will forever be grateful for the mentoring that was shown to me by Sandy (Trish) and colleagues and, of course, for the legendary Friday drinks on the 8th floor (from memory). I was also fortunate to call Glenn Buchan a friend. Kerry and Bucks' friendship will always be remembered by my wife Linda and me. Microbiology at Otago is a special place.
